About 15 minutes from the city of Granada is the Laguna de Apoyo, unique destination in the country, created by the Apoyo volcano, which after its last explosion was inactive -23,000 years ago-, giving rise to a crater lagoon which has a diameter of seven kilometers, being a natural wonder.
